By the way, Aage, could you tell me what the first number in parenthesis means, please (129 and 51 in the screenshot bellow)

It's an internal identification number for each variant.

I finally managed to translate the rules into german.

I have a little comment on rule no. 7, which reads:
Blacks win if they manage to capture the king before he escapes. The king is captured like all other pieces, except when he is on the throne.
To capture the king on his throne, the attackers must surround the throne by standing on the four cardinal points. Everywhere else on the board the king is captured as a normal piece: (...)
The last sentence seem to me like an unnecessary repetition. I removed it in the german translation because of this.

Furthermore there could be said that the game has a 'compulsion to move' somewhere. Rule no. 9 does somehow deal with this circumstance but I think it would be nice to make this already clear earlier.

Hi Marian,

The repetition was intentional to highlight the difference with the Brandubh 1 version (and other Tafl rules).

About the compulsion to move, maybe rule 9 could be merged in rule 4. But I think game rules shouldn't be too compact. That's better when each rule is clearly defined (and not guess or deducted). Especially when all the detailed rules hold on a single paper side. 😉

I've reworked the rules a bit. Now they fit on a single page. This required me to simplify some sentences while keep their central meaning. I hope this rules are still understandable while very compact.

Hey guys. Aage, here is the Portuguese translation I did for Brandubh 2. I read the discussions about the transition from Brandubh 1 to Brandubh 2, so I translated the rules for the new variant, and I did it as faithfully as possible.
Please, let me know if there is a problem with the file. :)
