In order to make the pieces work you'll need to save them with indexed colors.

I recommend just looking up "<your graphics tool> set indexed colors" in the search engine of your choice.
If there are any problems I can convert them for you.

Thanks. They look a lot better than the previous ones, but I'm still not entirely convinced. The ships look a bit too pixelated, I guess it's because of the 40 x 40 format.
In any case, it was worth trying... Actually, what do you think?... I leave it up to you; I sure wouldn't mind if you inserted back the original dragon-heads, which you designed, as I read recently in the 'history of this site' part...

The other designs I did for the Ard Ri game - the funny little vikings with swords and axes - do look very good though, IMHO...
