Good idea. But the new king is not transparent.

I can only imagine how it would look on my Tyr 17x17-variant. ;)
After the test tournament, your own set of pieces could be used for Tyr 17x17?
When you're at it, you'll have to need these too: V-men and commanders... See attachments. I'll send the white commander in a separate message (3 max.)

Ok. The changes broke the color index, sorry. It should be good now:

Masterluke,
the board color of Tyr is right now blood red, symbolizing the berserk. But perhaps you could recommend a better background color for Tyr?

Hey Hagbard
It’s looking fine as it is! This game has also a berserk move, so if you want to keep that symbolism throughout your website, I would keep it like that.
Maybe, just maybe, for the sake of contrast with the dark pieces, a lighter color like beige / light brown can look mighty good too. But than again, in the Ard Ri set up on the green field they also come out great... By all means, feel free to experiment, but I’m already very happy with the red...

The blood red with these pieces was too hard for the eyes, in my opinion. I changed the color to ochre like Fetlar.
But yet some third color could be tried, fx. the lead gray of the sky on your game box drawing or something else.
The Copenhagen board is another example where a special color had to be chosen to match the special pieces there.

Ok
I thought you had restricted choice of colors provided by the software... since you mention my artwork, I assume you can pick any color?
Now another idea comes to my mind: you told me the game board is build on the spot by the software. I wonder is it possible for me to design a seperate tile of 40 x 40 pixels and build a board with that tile?
