April-May 2017 we had another go at testing Skalk Hnefatafl 11x11. The game balance measured from this test tournament alone was -4.00 (30 games). A test tournament of the Copenhagen Brench cluster 17 was done with 5 players, 20 games.
Brench predicted 83% white wins, and the test came very close to that: 75% white wins!

Are there any alternative browsers for java and the applet. The Java tafl applet on this site was written in 2002. At that time the general wisdom in Denmark was that Hnefatafl was "Skalk Hnefatafl" 11x11 and 9x9. So these are what the applet does, and later extended with "Old Hnefatafl 11x11". Now...
